Fidelity’s fund managers have outpaced the competition for a prestigious industry award. Fidelity boasts three of the five portfolio managers nominated by Morningstar to be Fixed-Income Manager of the Year.

Lionel T. Harris has been named portfolio manager of Fidelity Small Cap Stock Fund and Patrick L. Venanzi has been named portfolio manager of Fidelity Small Cap Growth Fund.

James Morrow has been named lead portfolio manager of Fidelity® Equity-Income Fund (FEQIX), and Scott Offen has been named portfolio manager of Fidelity Equity-Income II Fund (FEQTX), both succeeding Stephen Petersen.

Jeffrey S. Feingold has been named portfolio manager of Fidelity Magellan Fund (FMAGX), succeeding Harry Lange.

James M. Harmon, Justin Bennett, Kathy E. Buck, Rayna Lesser, John Mirshekari, and Shadman Riaz have been named interim portfolio managers of Fidelity Low‐Priced Stock Fund, while the fund’s portfolio manager, Joel C. Tillinghast, takes a leave of absence from the firm. Tillinghast is expected to return to Fidelity and his portfolio management responsibilities on Fidelity Low‐ Priced Stock Fund in January 2012.

Fidelity has announced the following portfolio manager appointments, effective June 22, 2011, within the Global Asset Allocation Group:

Andrew J. Dierdorf has been named co-portfolio manager of Fidelity Freedom Funds, Fidelity Advisor Freedom Funds, Fidelity Freedom K Funds, VIP Freedom Portfolios, VIP Investor Freedom Portfolios, and VIP Freedom Lifetime Income Portfolios joining current co-portfolio manager Christopher L. Sharpe, and succeeding Jonathan A. Shelon.  Christopher L. Sharpe has been named co-portfolio manager of Fidelity Freedom Index Funds, and Fidelity Income Replacement Funds (retail and Advisor classes), joining co-manager Dierdorf, and also succeeding Shelon.
